I do not, none came with it.kf7mjf wrote:Looks good! You have all the emblems for it?
Under the hood their is a heater control valve. This adjusts how much antifreeze comes into your heater core. They usually rust up and shut and then won't adjust anymore. You can try putting penetrating fluid on it and breaking it lose first, but like mine it wouldn't break lose and I had to replace it. If you look at the picture, that I fixed because I incorrectly typed it you see that plastic piece? That's the valve and you replace that. You see the little metal hose thing running to it? That comes from the heater control.kf7mjf wrote:Looking good! Can you tell me how you fixed the heater? I've got that problem on my 67 Ranger, and on the Camper Special I'm giving to a friend.
Yes it was a steal on this truck. There's very little rust. Few holes in cab floor, cab corners, a few spots on fender and doors. I have to weld up a bunch of holes in the door from where a million mirror holes were drilled. No rust on the bed. Has all its windshield, back glass, drip rail, and head liner chrome. No dents just needs a good polish. However it has such a high gear rear end. I'm sure it's good on gas mileage. Not good for speeding.sargentrs wrote:She looks to be in pretty good shape. Great find on the seat.
