Ok well I got back from fefordtruck's place yesterday, and brought back a pretty much rust free 69f100. Going to use the entire body, PS box, and alot of other misc items. Just got to say fefordtruck is a real nice guy, was a pleasure doing business!

Started tearing the body off today, got alot of work ahead of me. Im ordering my headers today so I can run the exhaust. Going to strip the entire body, fix the minimal rust and then plop it on the f250!

the cab is ready to come off, I started stripping the floor. Both floor boards need to be replaced so Ill jump on that this week. I put wooden blocks under the cab so its easier to take off when Im ready. Im tired :o

thanks guys. Hopefully I can make the floor pans tommorow in welding class, and then get the cab off before the end of the week (when I get to borrow my buddies engine hoist again)

Im getting a 4brl manifold sometime this weekend, and just ordered my headers and exhaust from jegs. More updates to come.

replaced the floor pans today, My co2/argon mix ran out as I was just about to finish tacking the passenger pan down. The drivers side is tacked down but still needs to be welded up. As soon as I get some gas ill finish it up. No more cancer!

Be smart and weld some supports on the bottom of those flat pans... if you don't youwill get some nasty 'oil canning' from the pans...

good luck.

Well 15x10" wheels, but 38-42" tsl's for tires once I get my front 60. I didnt buy a lift, I fabbed up a front hanger, longer shackles and shackle flipped the rear. Its about 3-4" of lift.

Got my headers and started on the exhaust. Im running a glasspack to save space, hopefully it sounds ok. The drivers side exhaust is going to merge into the pass side right before the glass pack, I dont have enough room to run a dual exhaust on this truck. After i get everything tacked in im going to tig weld and blend everything. I tried to keep the exhaust as high up as possible, and I think I did a pretty good job. Btw thats 2 1/2" exhaust.

After thats all done im going to get a few guys over to help lift the cab off the 69 so I can get it ready for the 68!

Looks good but that might add some unwanted heat to the seals on the transfercase. Maybe an aluminum heat sheield would help dissipate some heat, also is there enough clearance when the frame flexes and the engine twists in the mounts under torque it's not going to rub?

yea I was thinking about the t-case bushings while running the exhaust, ill just run some heatshield. Im pretty sure its not going to rub while the frame flexes.
