I know this must be a wiring issure but I figured I'd run it by the forum. I have a 1972 F250 with a 360.
When my lights are on, the front turn signals do not work, but the parking lights are on. With headlights on, the rear flashers work just fine. With the lights headlights turned off, the turn signals seem to work fine for a bit then start flashing erratically. It shouid be noted that I replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs and replaced the flasher to one for LED bulbs.
Another thing I noticed that is odd, or maybe its normal with these trucks, is the emergency flasher only works with the rear flashers, not front as with modern cars. Is this normal for a 1972 Ford F250?
I'm really thinking I should replace all the wiring, (ugh). I am planning on replacing the instrument cluster with one from Dakota digital instrument cluster.
Odd flasher problem

Re: Odd flasher problem
All the lights that blink go through turn signal switch. The turn signal is a weak link and is a place to look for problems.
