bottom fender bolt location

Post by yarko »

Hi everyone. My 67 fenders appeared to be decent but after closer inspection I see that they're welded on the bottom. I took one off and plan on replacing them both. Does anyone have a picture of where the bottom bolt (near the door) goes? It looks like my section of the rocker(?) Doesn't have that hole. Thanks everyone

It's a U shaped tab with an oval hole where the bolt attaches. The bottom section with the oval hole had broken off on my passenger side and I had to weld it back on a while back. I have a photo of it but it's on my iPad and that's all I have access to until I get home Monday. Can't figure out how to get a pic posted from the iPad... If nobody else posts something before Monday I'll get one up for you. Or I can email you the pic.

If you're referring to the bottom bolt hole where it mounts to the cab, here's where my '70 is.

Thanks guys! The picture of the cab was just what I was looking for...Maybe a little closer. Lol. I think I have an idea. If you have a closer one I'll take it.

Lol. Sorry, was in a hurry. Starting on page 18-19 of my build thread are several photos of the bottom of the cab. Click on 'em and they should be large enough to give you better detail. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... &start=270

:hd: perfect! Absolutely prefect! Thanks. My rockers are in good shape but that part is missing. This is exactly what I wanted to see. Thanks again. I know what I need to do know!
