Folks,
I've found my jack, and it appears to be seized up. Is it worth trying to repair? Are there replacements out there that I should be considering? I'd like something that mounts in that spot ideally.
Thanks,
Duane

Re: Original Jack
try to give it a soak in motor oil, when it's freed up give it a rise in wd-40 to make it not so messy/remove oil and to keep it from sticking again.
If it's not broke, MOD IT!

Re: Original Jack
Factory replacements are out there - but man they are wanting a bunch for some of them. I did pay $25 for a "ranger - as in the small pickup" that I hope will fit in the same spot inside my engine compartment as the original did. I do have the crank up bar and a I think a lug wrench comes with the jack. Only missing the wing nut on the jack holder as far as I can tell in mounting stuff.

Re: Original Jack
For actual use. Either a floor jack. Or get a junkyard jack from another newer ford truck. Soaking urs might work. If its for show only. Clean and paint it bolt it down in place.
