Ok so here it goes .... i got this 72 f100 custom 2wd swb running and driving for my 13th birthday from my granddad. It had some rust issues here and there and everywhere . So i thought well i will do a frame off restoration on it. So i tore it apart , the floor pans and cab mounts were completely gone, along with other stuff. So i ordered new floor pans, cab mounts, door skins, rocker panels, and cab corners from LMC .Well time went by and we ended up having to move so it all got put in a storage building. Well i finally got it all to the house and it got shoved off in the woods. Well Friday i thought id drag it out and work on it after 9 years of sitting. Got it out and pressure washed the whole truck. Well it was rusted out 3x as bad as it was when it got shoved off in the woods. I had it layin on the back of the cab so its rusted out bad now. So friday and yesterday i got the floor pans and cab mounts put in. Yesterday afternoon and this morning i put it all back together. Here's some pics. Ill start out with pics of it when i got it. Id post pics of all the rust but im scared it'll spread to yalls trucks
As for the lower valance, you should be able to get one fairly easy at any local junkyard or pick-a-part. Most of the bumpsides I see in the junkyards still have the lower valance on them and most are in fairly good condition. You are going to want one off of a 70-72. The 67-69 lower valances are slightly different.
That's an impressive amount of work for one weekend! Good job.
