project 71 prerunner..
back in 2008 i bought a 71 f100 in plan to restore. it was originaly from down south so it was awefully rusty. i picked it up from a g.i. that was overseas. i paid his wife 800 and it came with tons of useable and useless parts.over 2 years i did a frame off resto in hopes to make an everyday driver. it took 3 1/2 trucks to make one. and it ended up pretty nice, it turned heads every once in a while! but it just wasnt everyday driver material. the 300 i6 that is seriously built for an i6 just wasnt so economical. so i bought another truck for my everyday driver. iv always liked trophy trucks, short course, and desert racing. so i started short course rc because of the lack of full sized deserts in kansas. then we had a guy move here from cali that was a prerunner freak! and he inspired me to look into bulding me a bumprunner! so as i start my new old project i decided to keep others updated!
