ok for the last couple of months i had dental and sholder med bills to pay. then the wife went and bought herself *on my advice* a 47 chrysler windsor with *suicide doors and highlander trim. it is a total rust bucket right now. so much surface rust i am tempted to use it to make thermite haha.
but back to the topic of the thread. i finally got a day to work on the truck. so i .....
went out in the cool of the morning and put in the new wireing looms for the spark plug now no more hearing the wire whine about "he's touching meeee...." good by angry octopuss hello visually unappealing but routed wires.
i decided to fix my craptastic fuel line flare from when i replaced my fuel line. i then had to fix like three more leaks

but now it runs dry.
i saw at a carshow *midnight at the oasis* a bumpside with a chain going from a bolt on the drivers side exhaust manifold to the bolt on the top of the drivers side engine mount. i asked the guy by the truck if this solved the W.O.T. problem on his fe engine... he replied "duno it's my sisters truck."

cool huh? any way i dicided to try it seemed like a good idea and turns out it was i need to change where i put my though but it worked.
i then went to work on the wire that runs from my distributer to the ignition coil. mine had like 5 splices on it so no needed new and it got it. the result from that was my point gap is now off but, still runs. which was good since i had promised to pick up my little one from kindergarden in it that day.
after picking up the monkey. i got to work putting in the fuel filter yaay i now have a fuel filter again. about 3 years ago after i had the shite work done on replaceing my tranny i hit a bump on the way home from some concrete work *diging , rod busting* on a 115 degreeday. and heard some bad news. me and a co worker jumped under it on the hot assfault and saw that the driver side exhaust had poped off of the hanger and that the hanger it's self had been busted for a while. so we looked at each other stood up grabbed our tie wire and hung it back up *gave off a very bad rattle ever sence* and the falling had busted my exhaust loose at the collecter so now i had a noisy smelly leak. 3 years of lots of work and little money latter i got to work on it. the whole damn thing was welded solid from the collecter to the tip. i droped it all put on new gasket reseated the damn thing put on the new hanger. more bailing wire *done better this time* and now i can hear my engine in front and exhaust out back
now my truck
runs better. waay better i think i even picked up a few mpg i will test this latter.
doesn't have the *this truck is about to die sounding rattle*
and has a deep resonating exhaust rumble like a big block should
with the ball and armrest it is waay waaaay more comfy to drive than it was before.
now i just need to
finish the bondo on the door *damage from improper mirror installs*
strip paint and unwanted trim and a little bit of surface rust *improper lumber rack*
bondo holes from trim
decide what color to paint after the white primer is done.
decide on interior colors.
sorry for the long post just how my life seems to be all at once or not at all.
