Lol, funny how something stupid like that starter will make you think its the end of the world. Reminds me of the time I swapped a reman engine into my 87 Shelby GLHS. I managed to get the flywheel cover on wrong and it was touching the flywheel. 3 months of depression and checking main and rod bearings later I discovered the relatively minor issue. Boy did it sound like a spun bearing.

Yeah, I'm sure you "accidently" barked the tires. :roll: :lol: Congratulations on figuring out the starter issue! That crap drives me nuts.

No kidding! Who would have thunk a new chinese starter would have been the issue.
