2.1993 crown vic 8.8 rear axle with 3.27 ratio and limited slip, disc brakes and sway bar
3.2003 chevy 2500 express van hydroboost and master cylinder - this was a simply awsome mod that works great
4.1987 700R4 auto trans-much better than the low geared manual tans it replaced.
5.1990 Isuzu 4bd1t 3.9L 4cyl diesel with 2003 hy35 turbo -its a diesel that will run on vegi oil, used motor oil and other things besides high priced diesel fuel.... need I say more
6.custom made aluminum gauge bezel with 8 autometer gauges
7.2003 ford ranger 17 gal plastic fuel tank
8.custom made aluminum fan shroud with 1998 mercury sable electric fans
9.EZ wiring 21 circuit wiring harness - no more old brittle wiring
10. vintage air A/C and heating unit
I have lots more little mods I like such as the location of the stainless steel fuel cap inside the bed or the 2004 spare tire carrier even the 18" wheels and the much lower stance of the truck but the ones listed above are by far my favorite especially the Diesel engine and 07 Crown Vic front suspension.

The best mods I have made SOOO far is; new motor (390ci) and trans (C-6), Lowering kit from DJM, rebuilt 9"w/3.25. now that the running gear is complete, the dreded body work begins. TTFN time to get started. trick
sweet, looking into a cd/dvd mp3 gps radio that will allow video in from 2 bumper cams one front one rear with video out to a recorder for the cameras and a tv for gps navigatuion and dvd watching whenever i'm sitting somewhere for awhile. guess i'm gonna need another battery for that.

I haven't had the truck that long but so far the best thing I have done is added the underhood light from a 90's chevy pick up. I get them for 3 bucks each at the local yard after I undo three 7mm screws and cut 2 wires. Just have one wire to he starter relay and the other to a ground and you get 15 feet of cord, magnetic base, on/off switch and a reel to pull it back in. I love these things!

You know why them chevys have them lights right? Its nice to have a well lighted area to work, so the chevy enginers said since our vehicles frequently break down lets give them a light to help them work on it. Yes, brilliant!!! (Just teasin' cause their chevy parts.)
