I ordered a rebuilt 2100 2bbl carb for my '68 F-250 Ranger Camper Special w/ the 360 v8. When it came, I had a new Wix 33046 fuel filter that I was going to use, but the carb turned out to be one of those 2bbl Mustang types with the 1/2" flare inlet. The most common fuel inlet for the 2100 on the '68 Bumpside is a 1/8" NPT thread.
This filter takes the place of having to flare a stub of 5/16" line and dig up a 1/2" flare nut and putting in an inline filter, which can be a pain because of the amount of space you have to take up with the workaround filter rig
I remembered a video by Mike's Carbs on youtube that addressed this problem, and Mike's sells the filter (which I couldn't find anywhere else) and he included a link to the ordering page for the filter which he stocks in his shop his shop. The vid is for the 4100 4bbl, but this also fits in the 2100 2bbl. Hope this helps someone.
