Who has the best trick for sealing up the fuel sender on the interior gas tank?

Re: Fuel tank smell
Thanks guys. Fixed the leaky, although new, sender gasket with permatex perma-shield. Highly recommend this to anyone. Throw the gasket away. Apply perma-shield liberally. Let it set up for a bit and screw down the sender. No leaks since. Perma-shield is a gasoline resistant sealer.
