I built a 461 FE, ported iron, Comp custom hyd flat tappet cam, 9.75:1, .041 quench, and did a quick cam break-in and dyno pull on a Duaspark 2 and 850 Holley, with the ported Edelbrock EFI intake on it and injectors hanging. We didn't bother tuning, it was a little fat, and just wanted to see what it liked for timing and break in the cam. It made 490 HP @ 5000, and 554 ft lbs of torque. Two different runs here, but you can see, nice flat curve even with a ported Victor intake. it's a baby compared to most of the FE strokers I do for others, but what a joy in a 4x4 pickup

I put it in the truck, drove it for a while with a 3310 750 and the Duraspark to get an idea of power and performance, and then hooked up the EFI

I made a goofy video at initial start up, wires everywhere (all cleaned up now) however, it ran really well. The fuel pump needs to go, but I had a slight air leak on the suction side and it's significantly quieter, but not quiet enough.
At this point, I am tweaking the program, letting it learn a bit, but it is incredibly well behaved around town already and getting better. 14-15 inches of vacuum is great for power brakes, and it's super mellow mellow until you drop the hammer. I need to modify my pedal to allow full throttle, so I can't really tell if it's making more power, but I believe it is more responsive and likely will be equal or better to the carb, as my big FEs tend to like airflow
Enjoy!
