Odd holes on side of 67 bed. HELP
Can someone tell me what these 45 degree holes are on the side of my ‘67 bed? Tie down holes? Chrome trim holes?
Thanks in advance.

Probably for a badge relating to your trim code although '67 had more limited options. http://www.fordification.com/tech/trim.htm My '70 had Sport Custom badges back there but it was a different hole pattern.

They’re up front too though. Maybe two emblems/badges? The holes are on both sides too.

I suspect those were for tie downs for a slide in camper.

Would love to see what the tie downs looked like. I can’t find them at any shops or sites. Here’s the other side:

I can’t find a picture of one, but what I am thinking of just looked like an upside down hook made out of round stock with a flattened shank where the hook bolted to the bedside.

Methinks they were previously drilled for Tarp Hooks, not sure why someone wouldn't have filled them in before painting the truck??

Camper tie downs. Nearly every '67 CS around here has exactly the same hole pattern if not the original hooks in place.
