Cab mounting bolt torque

Post by OLDYELLAR68 »

Hello All,

I am replacing the six cab mount bushings on my 68 F100, two at rear of cab, two at front of cab, and two at radiator support. Does anyone know what the torque specs are on these bolts? I don't want to ruin my new bushings.

If not mistaken -, the metal sleeve/tube that the bolt slides thru want let you torque but so far. I just tighten them until the big washers rammed against the sleeves and it was a good fit.

Therr is no torque. Its all about adjusting the body lines.
