I have started on the Mustang fuel tank install and have a question. I noticed that most are building a frame around it to mount to the truck frame. Is it not possible to mount it directly to the inside of the frame with out fabricating another frame around the tank?

Re: Mustang Fuel Tank Question
Yes, it's possible. It is just stronger with a frame around the tank.

Has anyone tried bringing the filler neck out behind the license plate?
