We worked until we could not see to work and then called it a night. I can't wait for someone to pull up in the drive and ask what we are doing what the truck and I tell them we are going to fix it! LOL

1987 F-150 XLT Lariat, 5.0/C6 auto.
The rain gutter was marked and a plumb bob was used to drop it off the gutter to see where it would hit the floor board of the truck. After we found the spot an (X) was used. Both side where done this way. Then measured to be 46 3/4" This is check and rechecked many times to get the front down to the same in the back. That keep your chop level. If I had to do it over again I'd left the back an inch higher to give the roof a little rake after I seen how cool the lean on the windshield is. Gives it a whole new look.
I leaned the (A) pillars back to give it that going fast look even when it's sitting still. I pie cut the A pillars but I will tell you this. I'll never do it again. It would have been a ton easier to just cut the whole post out, get the top where you wanted it using a cherry picker and then measured the space and trim the A pillars to fit. A lot of pie cuts to get things the way they should be not counting the hammer and dolly work.
