Thanks! I got the cab mounts from Dennis Carpenter. You can also get them from FlashbackF100s. They cost about the same from either place and are quite a bit more than the one-piece stamped and imported units available from most other companies but in my opinion, they are well worth it because #1, they look original and #2, they seem to be much stronger due to their 2-piece, overlapped construction. I believe that the metal might be a thicker gauge on top of being doubled where it counts. This is definitely one of those things where you get what you pay for. The imported mounts are roughly $30 from several places and these were $85 each.

Just read all 11 pages very nice work. Now to go look at your 56 ford.
Thanks for all the info it was very nice to see all the pictures. I have looked at other projects and lots of pictures are missing or moved.
