Yeah hes a big boy My white ram is a tad lower now then in the pics and the headlights go right over the bed rails and into the cab, so says the wife when i followed her home one night

I also installed cab lights a few months back. Just need to wire them up so they light up now

Crypticracer, congrats on the little one, you must be proud. I completely understand about the time thing. When you have a family, it takes priority and the funds to do the projects on our toys always seems to be nonexistent. But considering everything, the truck looks great! Remember, our projects will always be projects, they are never finished, there will always be some new upgrade we will want to do to improve it. I hope to see you rolling around the south side someday in your bump.

I'm over in the Evergreen area but my parents live right near you off of Snell and Santa Teresa. You are right about just going down to the wrecker to get parts or sheetmetal. There always seems to be a couple down there to pick parts off of.

Not to much of an update. The holidays an saving for a new place put a hurt on the Truck
but i do what i can.
Desided to **** can the factory A/C junk from the cab living in nor-cal the windows down will do just fine.



Still need to take the dash controls out an maybe sell it all off if i find a big enough box to put it all in

Got ahold of a new to me heater box set up so now the fun begins with a "robroy" rebuild of my own

Hahaha already cleaned,sandblasted an painted ill find all the parts i need to rebuild it next week an im all set.

Going to install a firewall cover too, so im going to take the column out again an get on that project before th ebox goes back in. Then Rhino line the floor, Mat it the OEM carpet kit form NPD.

Hey guys! been along time again life got in the way The truck has been sitting for awhile been having tranny issues as of late. The NP435 is being quite stuborn getting into 2nd from 3rd the sync is going south on me. So its parked in the driveway now waiting for a nice free weekend when i can drop her out an get her the the shop. Anyways here are some pics FTW....

I'd recommend looking at the shift fork pads on the 1-2 fork. They're plastic. They don't last 40 years. When they fall off you can't use 1st and 2nd too good.

You can pull the top plate in the truck. I replaced one in my '70 10 miles into the wilderness once. Pads were gone, ate the 1/2 fork and stuck it'self in 2nd gear. 100 miles to get home was not really an option stuck in 2nd gear.
