and I've had to sort through parts to figure out which had less rust

Still have 4 door's to make a good set

Well I dove into the cab and started fabing up my (dodge minivan) bucket seats

This is what the original bracket looked like

I had a little modification to make

On the inside track...I'm gonna weld up a cpl of washers to reinforce the sheet metal...so nothing left but drilling the holes

Patched the nasty speaker holes

The patch under the window was for

Not sur how to describe what the PO did

....it wasn't pretty

without a shave....with a shave

and with a filler coat

More grinding and body filler today and then

Razor's still sharp

Although it will not ride on a trailer

....this is nothing more than a summer truck

I can completely understand that. I retired my truck from service as a truck the day I bought it. Like you no trailer queen but also no rain or cold days. I am going back in with a heat / cool unit more for the sake of it than anything. I want the AC but seriously doubt the heat will be used. Are you closing anything up across the front of the dash? I will be smoothing mine all out and mounting the radio under the passenger side of the seat. Naturally it will have a remote.

There not bad...probaly not the best route(can't utilize much of the recline and keep the mount's right)for our trucks,but they were payment for a snow plow job....so I've got next to(if you could see the driveway) nothing in them. The foam is good....probaly have them recovered

I'm a finactic on butt welds,but I will suggest to get a flange tool for this fix.....I flanged these patches and it made it a lot easier to reach up in in and hold them in place for welding

Pic's coming....the bondo coat is sanded out and I metal coated the seams(above doors&windshield)and sanded them out.....It now has 2 heavy coats of Epoxy primer inside the cab
