I haven't had time yet to fabricate or modify the original transmission crossmember (the one under the bellhousing that used to bolt to the top of the frame rails, with supports going to the bottom of the frame rails on each side). So right now I have the beefy engine crossmember (which I shortened for the cummins), the transmission mount crossmember I fab'd and the rest of the crossmembers behind that.
I went out with some buddies yesterday on a trail but didn't "flex" the truck at all because i'm paranoid that with the lack of this crossmember I could tweak something Thoughts?
It wouldn't be easy to permanently bend something framewise under your truck with just the truck's own weight and slow speeds. You can twist the frame up, but not likely you'll pass anything's yield point where it actually bends and stays that way.
In flexing your frame I'd be most concerned with the gen1 engine mounts you used. Something to keep any on atleast.

But I didn't use the 1st gen mounts I fabricated my own engine mounts using polyurethane bushings, no way those suckers are coming apart
