Yeah... worked on the cummins swap for a straight 12 hours today , 9:30 to 9:30. Well, the last two hours was mainly cleaning up the garage..
I would be going easier on my self but I am determined to go on a snow wheeling trip in just a few weeks so I have to push myself a little more.

Yeah, it is..
I've got some trust in the cherry picker though, It picks up the entire front half of the race truck all the time to droop the suspension out

It may not look pretty, and may not be on wheels anymore, but it seems to work
Front crossmember had to come down a lot to clear the cummins oil pan.
Cummins in the highboy at last
I pulled the trans crossmember from the Dodge and trimmed it down to size and stuck it in the highboy's frame rails and bolted the tranny back up to that, simple enough right?
Just need to figure out how much to raise the crossmember off the bottom frame rail lip to set the crank angle right. Looks like the crossmember needs to sit an inch or two off the bottom lip so I'll just fab some spacers or mount deal up, or maybe even use the original highboy trans crossmember perch deals
I decided on using 1st gen motor mounts, so picked up a new set and this is going to be the tough part, but shouldn't be TOO bad. The motor mounts sit soooooo low in the frame it's really going to be some awkward looking mounts. I am offsetting the Cummins as far to the passenger side as i can... until the a/c compressor hits the front crossmember. Trying to get the trans yoke in line with the t-case yoke.
