hey can someone give me knowledge if a 390 fe will fit in a 99-04 mustang? im really wanting to do this and if it will clear my hood with a 3 inch cowl.and use the c6 auto transmission.if their is already a k member i can buy and header than im all set.im going to pick up another fe block and have it clean and punched out.can someone send me link on some good internals.i would like a 429 or 428.it does not matter .its going to be na on ethanol. ditch the computer and turbo witch was the original plan for this car here is a picture for inspiration.i want to get started on this as soon as possible.ill post pictures up photbucket is not working right now.

I'm sure given a surplus of money and time, just about anything is possible.

The Mod motors are wider, but you may have trouble with the height. C6 may have a some trouble with the floor depending on how low you can get the crank centerline.

Doesn't really seem to be much out there as far as FE's in the 99-04's. Saw one forum where the guy wanting to put a 428 FE into his 01 was talked down because it was "too expensive" and "too hard to make it fit".
