Hello everyone!
Been quite some time i know...with all the things i was (and am) juggling over the last few years i just haven't had the time for extra time on the computer. I still have the truck, no it's not done, yes it is close. I do own the truck, i bought it, did all the work, etc and will finish it.
It is true i have moved on and even though i am with the same company i basically work for Car Craft and Hot Rod now. I run a 9000 sq/ft shop that the company owns were we do tech stories in house and i am here to do the labor and less of the photos and writing. I will still submit stories to Classic Trucks when the oportunity arrises. Jim Rizzo who took over for Rob Fortier is a great guy and a real home grown Do it yourselfer. Wes who i found to replace me is on the younger side (like me, or at least like i used to be) and is a great mechanic and photographer with a lot of good new ideas. I think those two will do well together.
My '68 is here in the shop with me and as soon as i have time (i just finished my '72 C***Y which feels good) i will get the F-100 knocked out. we have some exciting things going in the shop, i have to build a '69 camaro, that is a bare shell right now, by x-mas, there's also a '71 Demon drag car we are doing with Car Craft that will be fun with a twin turbo small block. Also working on the Hot Rod Crusher Camaro and Freiburgers Super Bee.
I am also going back to Japan this year for the Mooneyes show in Yokohama as a guest along with my Harley Shovelhead i built and was recently featured in Street Chopper. So i would guess i'll be back on the bumpside in January after all this madness in the next couple of months.
Thanks for everyone's support through all this, learned a whole lot here!
