Rustbuckets new buckets!!

Post by Joshpow »

I got my new to me buckets in my ol 72. They are 2k2 f150 with integrated seatbelts. I had to cut the tracks and modify mounts to get them to work. Got them bolted in today. Cut 1.25 inches off inside tracks to sit lower. They now sit around 1/2 inch lower than my old factory seat. I thought bout cutting the floorboard to lower more but I dont think its worth the effort. What do you guys think? The center seat isnt mounted yet. Itll sit around 2 inches lower when its mounted. I still gotta finish the trims and stuff but I dont think it turned out too shabby. Also heres a pic of my 78 tilt and the modded 84 f100 trim on the column. If you look close youll also see my modesty panel I made out of aluminum on the passenger side under the dash. 1 of 1!!! Please input what you think. Just wish my center seat wasnt lighter color. It aint the match for the buckets because it wasnt gonna work to suit me so i didnt get it. Thanks guys.

Looks very good. That is a seat upgrade I am going to do to the 68, when I get to it.
