Well, it has been a long time since I got this baby frm CathynKeith. I am now getting to the point where I can really see it on the road soon.
I went today and got a nice bench seat, front bumper, carbuerator, spare dashboard, spare glove box door and a non broken windshield washer resevoir for it from my 71 rust bucket. The 71 is slowly rotting into the ground. It is eat up bad with rust. I pray that I can have it running by Saturday. I'll post up some pics when I get the seat in and the carb on.
More to follow...

Re: The Texas Ranger
Here are pics of the bench seat frm the 71 that will be going in my 69 tomorrow. It looks real good, only the small separation on the drivers side seat. Easy fix.
The front bumper is much nicer in person than in the photo- it is straight and nice. It too will go on tomorrow.
The tool box was mounted under the hood on the 71 and I thought it was a neat idea. Could keep small stuff in there for emergencies...fits nicely on the drivers side under hood.

Re: The Texas Ranger
Windshield washer resevior with no cracks and it is complete, nice deal.
The glove box door was so nice my 18 year couldn'y pass it by...
The extra dashboard will be really sweet when cleaned up.

And the carb...it is filthy and needs a serious cleaning...Once cleaned I will install it and crank this baby up.

Re: The Texas Ranger
Yeah it is cool. When I got the 71, it was from a scrap yard, and knew it was a parts truck only. When I got it home and opened the hood, I thought "How cool is that thing" It fits in the perfectly, bolted down and the stuff in the picture is what was in it. Not bad. I also have an old tool box that fits as well, but it is the first one I ever had, from my Dad. So, I will sand this one daown, primer it and spray it satin black then mount it in there.

Re: The Texas Ranger
A move is in the works. So, probably won't get to finish up the carbuerator until late next week. I will put on the front bumper after I get the truck to the new place...which is only about three blocks away.
