Installed dynamat and a new rug in 72 (pic inside)

Haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I'd share my latest project on the 72. Used to have the rubber floor cover and it was in good shape but I wanted to see if I could quiet things down inside the cab to some degree, now that I'm riding around with the windows up and the AC on. I had heard good things about Dynamat so I decided to give that a go, along with a new green carpet from ACC. The carpet fit extremely well with the correct double hump for the C6 tunnel, and it covers the entire floor all the way to the back wall unlike the rubber mat. Here's a pic of the Dynamat installed. Overall this definately made a difference in the sound level inside the cab. And an added benefit is a much cooler floorboard, it used to get really warm at the tunnel area. I didn't get a pic of the carpet installed yet, maybe tomorrow.

Looks sweet! It's got to be a lot quieter inside. What brand carpet did you buy?

ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) very good to deal with.

How much dynamat did it take do your cab? I'm looking into sound deadoning for my 69.

Yes, it is loop pile. It took a whole box of dynamat with 2 1/2 sheets left over which may be enough to do behind the fuel tank or above the headliner, hmm or maybe inside the doors....
