hi all, thought id post up progress here. got heaps more done yesterday.... brakes all bled up, mufflers on as well. will start welding up the old screw holes in the dash(previous owner must have liked drilling holes???) and body work!!!

Nice work chris72. What engine are you running? I know it's EFI but is that a 5.0 litre?

hi all, finally, most of the truck is together! on to body work and paint! not long now till she`s on the road!!! woo hoo! will get more pic`s tomorrow.


got a fair bit more done today, most of the body prep still a ways to go though!

Looks like youve got a good body to work with. What color you going to paint the truck when its ready ?

flat black, kinda rat style. the cab is quite good but most of the front panels aint too good, the more i sanded, the more filler i found :( i`ll get it on the road and probably collect better bits for it. not too bad all up though! :fr:

A 72 F-250 Hi-Boy "project" ( that means sitting untouched for 3 or so years)

And a little 94 F-150 Flareside, 7" higher and 35's...

hi waynaferd, the 5 ltr is great, as in; no crappy cold starts, nice and crisp, plenty of power for what this truck needs. 4 speed is great as well, about 1600 rev`s in 4th at 100 klms ph!

put a new water pump in today as well as twin thermos as the old clutch fan died! was supposed to go to the wintersun carnival today but im glad the fan went last night and not while we were out down the coast! lol!
