brief addition. started rolling under the front fenders and doing minor body work. dents... lots of dents.... :x Let's not get into the large chunks of filler.

Image

ANYHOW lets not get stuck on the negatives. The fenders went back on to test clearances and to check a few things. this is where i'm at

i really appreciate the praise. :woohoo: i plan to get the cab mounts replaced soon since they are shot and then work on getting everything sitting right. what do you guys think i should do with the stance? it's sitting high in the front but it's without an engine and tranny for now.

that could be cool. i'm almost positive that i'm going lower. i think i'll be going with a full crown vic independent suspension and possibly bags. i'm leaning heavily toward a beefed up 300 with dual 2.5 pipes.

In my opinion this paticular truck would look awesome at its current stance. Just my :2cents: . One thing I want to know is why people put crown victoria front suspension on these trucks. PM me if you want. I think the fenders will bring out a bit of a 56 f-1 look to it. Either way this will be very unique in a very positive way. Talk about a head turner, and post it when you get it done. I want to see this beast. Next for a project you should put the front end from this f100 on the f600 you got the front clip off of  That would look cool too.

A built I6 could be very nice. You can get a hp range on a cam for a I6 from lunati up to 8300 rpm's ( holy crap). When I said current stance I was meaning after the engine was put in. I knew it would go down a little, a small amount of rake would give it a slick look (once again in my opinion). Either way you do it you will have a sweet hot rod.
