I have seen several post about the Bronco have the same bumper brackets for the style type bumper. What I have not been able to find is what year model Bronco's can those brackets be found on?
I saw an 82 Bronco with what looked to be those brackets but wanted to make sure that was one of the right year models.
Thanks,
Bobby

re: Brinco style bumper brackets
I'm with the understanding that the Bronco brackets would work up through '79, and that the later brackets ARE different, and won't work on our trucks.
However, the last time I was at the U-Pull-It I shot this of the rear bumper brackets on an '82 or '83 Bronco....you can see they're slightly different from ours, but I'm still thinking they might work:

...and here's a comparison photo of the '67-'72 pickup style:

If you decide to pull them off and try them out, please report back. I'd love to know for sure whether they can be salvaged from a later Bronco.

re: Brinco style bumper brackets
When looking at the Bronco bumper from above it looks more like the style bumper brackets than the other one in the picture.
Looking down from above the bracket is bolted to the bumper in 2 locations on top and the bracket appears to Y out to where it meets the bumper. The top picture does not look like it attaches to the bumper that way. Does it mount to the bumper in the same fashion and look like the bottom 2 pictures?
Thanks,
Bobby

re: Brinco style bumper brackets
I went to take another look yesterday and I think what is there is more of a mess.
They appear to be the Bronco bumper brackets that someone wanted the bumper to stick out farther, so they welded them to some steel and welded that to the frame.
I decided to pass on this.
Thanks,
Bobby
