Finally got my camera going. Took some pics last year of my EFI 300 swap. I drive this truck 30 miles round trip each day. I get milage no less than 20mpg. The pics are self explaining. The pic with the fellow removing the 360 is my cousin Rob. The final pic is camping two weeks ago. Happy trails.... Nick

Okay , I may have been a little vague. The engine is a bone stock 87 F-250 with about 60,000 miles. The EGR was left in tack for milage purposes.I used a mustang 5.0 smog pump eliminator pully, wich fit with no modifications The air-in-head injecting was removed, pump was seized. The original 69 wiring harness was untouched. I just needed a switched 12 volt souce to power the EEC, Ignition, and fuel poump relays. I removed the tank and TIG welded a 6AN male fitting on the bottom center of the tank pointed at a 45 degree towards the seat. For the return line, I used 6AN and connected it to the original fuel feed line. The 6AN was connected to the engine with Russel brand Ford quick-connect to dash 6 adaptors. The fuel pump is a Walbro GSL 392 mounted on the rear most cross member. The porpose for mounting the fuel pump so far back was to eliminavte the pump whine in the cab. The pump is gravity feed since the feed line is welded to the bottom of the tank. The 360 V-8 core support opening was too wide for the 300's rad. I replaced the 360 rad with a 69 f-350 dually w/ 300cid application wich was same dimention as the stock 360 rad. The down pipe is a modified Magnaflow Stainless stock replacement for 87-94 apps. The exhast is 2.5 back to a Dynamax super turbo RV muffler with a stock exit 2.5 tailpipe.
As far as drive line. The trans is a Ford built TOD light duty 4 speed overdrive, Commonly found in 85-87 ford f-150's with 300's. The drive shaft front section was shortend about 2.5 inches. The rear gear is a 3.30 the tires are 30x9.5 BFG long trails. The EEC is mounted standing up between the e-brake and column.
Your trucks is AWESOME! any build pics of the wiring,etc..? What kind of mileage are you getting? Thanks

Here's some pics of the Ford TOD next to a Long nose slip yoke 3 speed. The TOD trans is a direct swap for the slip yoke 3 speed but not the bolt on yoke 3 speed. It;s a good driving trans, no low gears, tall OD. I'd say 1800 RPM's going 60mph.
Would it be the TOD in te cougars and tbirds with the 3.8? The trans in the cougar is tough.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Do you have any more pics. My kids and I are putting a 88 300 efi into a 67 F-250 4x4. We are currently using a NP 4 speed. It will get a ZF 5 speed. The problem we are having currently is the upperintake and the fire wall. The truck had a very tired and thursty 360. Any help would be great. Thanks.
What mods did you have to do to the ECC, I am using a 89 4.9 efi going into a 72 what extras did you have to do to weed out the crap that came with the stock motor?
Thanks
I am running the same drive train as you (with 3.55 gears). I think it is the best kept secret! the 300 six is great but the efi. version is awesome. It doesen't do anything great, but it will do anything, within reason!
