yeah, I think Ive had it 2 weeks I think.....see, in jan. 04' I bought my first new car, a good solid family car that my wife could drive our children around safely, since in feb. 04' our first baby was due.....like any self respecting ford man would have done, I aquired a lovely new " mortgage" payment   for a new xlt larriet super crew. I love it but 5 years and 2 babys later Im now tired of only having one family car. now that the "mortgage" is paid off :woohoo: Id like a family car for myself. so when a man wants a family car, what better choice than a crew cab highboy bump!!! my daily driver 76 highboy just dont cut it in the passenger carrying department and I figured if I took the money that I would have used as down money for a new "belly button" truck and spent it, and a couple of weeks of work in our slow season, to build the truck that I always wanted, and best of all, no payments!!!! ( just a lot of work :) )
I just need to bust my butt to get it done before spring gets in full swing. I think I can pull it off, I am fortunate to have my awesome family that Im in business with, and a great network of motor head friends, and not to mention the fordification crew!!!!. we'll see how it goes, I will post more pictures soon

Man, you move fast! You just got the thing!

Are you going with EFI on the 460??

Last time I checked, I didnt think you could convert the fuel injected 460 to carb.

I could be totally wrong, but I think I remember it from an old post or something.

Looking good. Can't wait to see the floor pans and cab mounts get replaced. I'm about to start that project in the spring.

Im installing the efi and everything. I want a "new" old truck. I know 1988 isnt new but Its new enough for me. eventually Im going to change it from a speed density system to a mass air flow and hop it up a little, maybe down the road a centrifugal supercharger (when I hit the lottery  ) hahaha.
