re: Oil leaks
Ok I will add more info to prove that I am not a total idiot, The motor is a 390, All gaskets were replaced as was the New edelbrock intake, Valve covers, trans etc. I did torque all bolts tight to prevent problems, I checked pan for flattness, no problems, Sealer was put inside of bolts, But it seems as if the oil has a lot of pressure, blowing out every where, what did I do?

I know that my 240ci started spewing oil from every seal because the pipe that takes the internal gas pressure out from the tappet cover to the intake mainfold was blocked. Its called the Closed Crank Ventilation system.
As the pressure built up, the oil was pumped out of every seal. Check that you dont have a blockage. Follow the hose from the PCV valve on the tappet cover over to the manifold. Check the hose and the pipe in the manifold.
I dont know if the 390 has one ? Here is a photo of after I cut it off to expose the blockage. I then just cleaned it out and refitted the hose. All good after this. No more oil spew ...

re: Oil leaks
YOU ARE A GENUISS, No body else has ever fiqured this out, I had c hanged the intake to a edelbrock, the old 2bbl carb spacer had pickups for bothe vavle cover vents, In changing this over , I also changed the breather, It origanally had an oil bath breather, The standard style that I replaced this with, had hookups / groments for the valve cover vent tubes, What I have found is that there is not enogh suction to vent the engine effecintly, There fore after I changed tubes around and custom made a few T's it fixed the problem, I had oil leaking out of every gasket, (NEW GASKETS) I know how to install them correctly but have never experienced this.....THANKS for the FIX
