picked up another 460 for my truck
Cant remove the distributor. Removed hold down clamp.
Distributor wont even turn by hand, but will turn with grate resistance with a pipe wrench. Engine will turn freely, and will also turn the rotor in the distributor.
I really need to remove it.

Sounds almost like the dizzy is rusted into it's hole.
Try soaking it in penetrating oil, and tap it with a hammer.

yeah just get some good penatrating juice like PB blaster and let it soak for awhile and just work it back and forth. Should eventually come out. good luck.
