Looking good man. I got the same thing to where you see a group of trucks out in a field but can't find out who's they are.

ill try to get some better pictures in the following days i was just tired after woprking all day on it and the driving 50 miles at 50 miles per hour at around 2800 rpm. Guess i will have to get use to 4.10 gears and manuel brakes, cause i drove my silverado to walmart after i got home and about went though he windshiel when i pushed on my brakes like i had to on the bump

oopps ... yeah Steve...
I've done that before after drivin' the '68 for awhile.
Things are lookin' good there with '67...
You'll need to do power brake up grade on it, I know '67's are a little differant than '68's, but it was a really simple upgrade...
i just got my '68 runnin' again tonight so I'll be testin' the power brakes real soon...
Good luck with yer '67...
You'll need to post some better pics of your leak...
If it ends up that you need to replace the front tranny seal, I would recommend replacing the torque coverter while yer at it...
I'm speaking from experience...
I replaced the front tranny seal on a '68 Fairlane w/302/c4..
Sure enough, I got it put back together and it didn't leak... for about two weeks...
So I pullled the tranny again, and had to get another seal and a new converter... I installed those, restabbed the tranny and didn't have any more leaking..
As the converter spins it rubs on the seal and gets wore down ever so slightly... when you put the new seal in, it fits tight for a little while, but as you drive it warms up and fits looser... soon, your leak is back, mine was worse the second time than it was before I replaced the first seal...
Good luck... hopefully you won't have to replace the seal right away, but keep an eye on yer tranny fluid...
My '71 CS needed one, I had to put a quart of fluid in it every time I started it.. I knew I was gonna be parting it out, but when the tranny went out on my Caravan, I had to drive the '71 for a couple of months...
thats a lot of fluid...

re: got to work on the 67 today updated 3/28/08
Ok sadly no pictures forgot camera again. But today i drove the bump up to dads to install the new shocks. Three of the old shocks were stiff and took a lot of force to go down and had a hard time coming back up and the 4th one was much worse it went together very very easy and didnt come back on its own at all.
We also pulled the bed off of the truck and got to installing the under bed fuel tank. We got the tank and skid plate all hung up and mounted properly. While we were working on the shocks we had sealed the tank so it was dried by the time we were ready for it.
We still need to cut the hole in the bed floor and side of the boxt and hook up the gas line and sending unit along with the fuel switch and tank valve selector.
So here i set writing this as my bump sets back 50 miles away again for another week
and im driving the ltd again. I guess at least on a positive note i will have more fuel capacity and it wont be like driving a covered wagon down a rocky trail every bump in the road i hit ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_laughing01.gif)

ok to make up for last week i snapped a few pictures of the new tank and were i mounted the fuel switch.
Not only did we use the original e brake set up but we just modified it a bit and it now misses the tank by at least a inch or 2 Also look for my power drum brake add on in a different post now for the pictures.
here is the filler neck installed
![Image](http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/imabaka70/67%20ford%20f250/P1010011-1.jpg)
I installed the switch in the empty dome light switch hole fit perfectly. still need to drill a small hole so the bezel is right side up but it still looks good were its at
![Image](http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/imabaka70/67%20ford%20f250/P1010012.jpg)
and a shot of the filler hose going up through the bed

I think the plugs look pretty good. The only time I get concerned is when they are really dark.
Tell me more about the insulation you used. Does it only come 4" wide? Where did you get it? Are you putting carpet on top of it?
About those engine pics. Since the thing is running and driving now, I think it is time to take the thing to the car wash and power wash that engine and underside. It will make finding the leaks a lot easier. Just make sure you bring some bags to cover the carb and alt. Wear old clothes so you can get down on your belly or back and wash the underside really well. It looks like a nice original truck. Clean it so we can see it!
Tell me more about the insulation you used. Does it only come 4" wide? Where did you get it? Are you putting carpet on top of it?
About those engine pics. Since the thing is running and driving now, I think it is time to take the thing to the car wash and power wash that engine and underside. What I normally do when I bring home a new project or something that I'm going to part out, is first spray it down w/ purple power (degreaser). If it is really thick, I take a paint scraper to it, to remove the heavy stuff. Then I take it to the car wash. I don't use the degreaser at the car wash. I just use the normal high pressure soap. Wear safety glasses because you will be sticking the spray wand down in tight spots and the water (and dirt) is going to shoot back at you. It is a lot of work, but it sure beats working on dirty stuff. I would do it before you do anything else. It will be easier to work on the trans w/ it clean.
Oh yeah, have you checked the fluid in the rear yet? From your posts it sounds like this thing has sat for a while. With you turning high rpms on the road, you need clean sythetic fluid in the rear.
have fun
