Looking good, but I couldn't help but wince when you put a hole in the door for the speakers.... Can't tell you how many sets of doors I passed up/went by trying to find some that weren't cut up like that. I've got speakers in the actual metal door panels... much easier to find those and put in if I ever decide to go sans door speakers.

That was hard to do...

Then I looked through the cool section Keith has on this site about the Ranger XLT package and noticed that the factory put very similar speakersd in that location. So I went for it!

4 out of the 5 voices in my head always say GO FOR IT!

Been two months since I did an updarte here, so here is what is going on. I have been working on cleaning up my 360 and getting it painted. The main excitement is that I am taking Uncle Darrell to the paint shop to have the bodywork done on thi inside and outside of the cab. When it is painted and ready to go I will be able to install all my goodies up to the point of having a running truck again! Updates will come more often then. Soon to be out of "Paint Jail"!

It looks like this engine was originally from a 4WD as it has the main bolt for the oil pickup...

Wanna trade that bolt for a standard 2WD crank bolt?

Been a while since I posted in this thread.

I have acquired a factory 4 barrell 390 out of a 65 Galaxie, and my truck is back from stage 1 paint (The cab is painted and sitting on the frame.

I have reinstalled a few items such as the dash knobs (including wiper delay upgrade), sun visors, fuel filler neck, cargo lamp and dimmer switch. Everything seems to be coming together so far.

I installed a few items in the interior today. I put in the instrument cluster, the headliner, a tune trapper hidden antenna under the headliner and the dual cone dash speaker I got from LMC.
