With the new cross member all welded in place, I can cut off the rest of the frame forward. I will be fabing the new frame rails from 6"x2"x.250 wall steel. I will also be adding some extra length to run Ford Superduty length springs...

Why not drop the dodge 29 spline input in a Ford 205 case, redrill the Ford 205 case to match the dodge adapter and bolt it to your tranny?
Hey avgf250...
Can this be done? Have you done this before? AA makes an adapter for the 31 spline 205 input, but not having looked at the inputs (or measured)... which would be the stronger of the two?
Thanks!

When the truck hits the road, she will be making about 350 rwhp and about 750 lb ft of torque. The goal for this motor is in the neighborhood of 650HP at the rear wheels which should put me in at about 1200 lb ft of torque....
