the lower you go the more problems you have. i had to cut my inner fender wheels when i put the 2" drop spindles on. its not that hard to box them back in but the hood mount is right there. i am not sure what marz68 going to do. i think maybe tilt the hood forward. i just cut a rough hole.

Yeah I started cutting out the tops of the inner fenders on mine. I think I'm gonna get some new stock rear wheel housings that go in the bed and box em in with those so it looks factory!

yea i was going to do that to i even had an extra set cut out. some how i ended up getting carried away and this is what i have now.

That's some nice tig welds! did you lay those your self?
Do you plan on welding in those lower control arm spacers to the cressmember.

Why yes I did as a matter of fact. I'm finally back in practice i guess since coming to work at the magazine and not really TIG welding in about 2 years-feels good! I kinda surprised my self with the gussets because it's hard to do those welds on 1/8" and not burn the edge.

I was thinking I better weld the control arm spacers to the crossmember and I should have just built a new frame by now, but oh well!

By the way the show at Knotts is a kit car show in case you weren't aware, but if you're coming down still let me know.

Lookin' good! Kick up? I hope you covered all of this in an issue coming up! I'd love to see how you did this. The last I saw was the rear 4 link. When is the new issue out!?

Lots of 12-14 hour days lately has means that I've been getting stuff done! I just slid the 4.6 3-valve SOHC and 5-speed between the fenders yesturday and it fits amazingly! I need to make all the mounts for it, but that shouldn't be too bad.
